Micah Purnell

Micah is an award winning freelance artist, designer, curator and author, with a taste for Norwegian sweaters. He is from Newton Heath and his studio is based in Manchester city centre.

In all his  projects he uses  Design Thinking to find new ways to create “AHHH” moments. These always bring positive, memorable experiences.

He has worked with a variety of national and global clients including the NHS, Tearfund, Pizza Express, Elbow, Adapt Manifesto and The University of Manchester, not to mention his kids, who get him running around designing logos for their various enterprises.

As well as appearing in countless exhibitions over the last 25 years (including with Turner Prize Winner Douglas Gordon), I he has  curated numerous projects with leading international artists, designers and thinkers.

My work has appeared in The BBC, The Guardian, Getty Images, Creative Review, Huffington Post, Creative Boom, Metro
